CLARK’S COFFEE

A Decades-Long Obsession Meets a Personal Mission.

In the heart of Portland, coffee is more than just a morning ritual it’s a craft. For us, it’s a lifelong pursuit. Clark’s Coffee was born from a combined 15 years of industry experience between its founders, Ricky and myself. With a decade spent behind the bar and Ricky’s five years of deep-dive expertise, we’ve seen every side of the bean and hospitality. But we knew there was a deeper story to tell beyond the final cup.

Beyond the Direct Trade Label.

We believe that specialty coffee is only as good as the community it supports. Recently, we traveled to Guatemala to go beyond the "direct trade" labels and meet the people who make Specialty Coffee possible. Sitting down with five different producers in their own homes transformed our perspective. We didn't just see farms; we saw families, traditions, and the incredible resilience required to produce a specialty crop.

Portland Roots, Global Responsibility

Clark’s Coffee is built on the belief that fair support for producers isn't a bonus it's a requirement. We want to grow to the point where we can increase wages and improve the quality of life for our employees, our community, and our supply chain. Based here in Portland, we are a community-driven company dedicated to transparency and radical optimism. When you drink our coffee, you aren't just supporting a local business; you’re supporting a global chain of fairness that reaches back to the very hands that picked the cherries.

We’re here to serve our neighbors and honor our farmers, one smooth damn fine cup of coffee at a time.

Partnerships

We’re proud to partner with local coffee importer and roaster Nicole Tignor in supporting ‘She is coffee.’ This global network empowers women in the coffee and cacao industries through mentorship and workshops, giving them the tools to lead cooperatives and build sustainable futures.
